Solntseva N/ St. Sergius of Radonezh and literature of XX century
Abstract
The paper is devoted to the perception of St. Sergius of Radonezh in the XX century fiction and publicism as well. Statements from letters and diaries are also within the paper. The accent is done on polemics of writers and thinkers of Silver Age and Russian èmigre in respect of relationships between Church and State, correspondence of Christian morality and politics. There were also regarded in the paper the history of works creation, biographic context, source of motives, specific of stile. Following texts were taken as the material: Z. Gippius, S. Esenin, B. Zaitsev, I. Ilyin, A. Kuprin, O. Vysheslavtseva, M. Prishvin, A. Remizov, V. Rozanov, I. Shmelev, S. Frank.

Kyulavkova K. Syncretic style, literary and cultural function of A.S. Pushkin short prose
Abstract
In this review was concluded about the styles interpretation, literary and firstly here was cultural role of the Pushkinʼs short stories from his book «The Tales of the Late Ivan Petrovich Belkin». For this purpose defined socio-cultural and historical context of the epoch, when Pushkin wrote his short stories, after – the performance on the basis of the five short stories from the book and finally the synthetical summary was proposed with the short conclusion about meaning of Pushkin in the development of contemporary prose.
The author thinks that (1) the Pushkinʼs short stories have the syncretic style, using the speech of the others, irony, inter-text, multi-focuses, actualisation (that is the characteristics of contemporary prose), (2) the same that was made by Edgar Poe in American literature, Pushkin made in the russian literature, and (3) the contemporary structure of russian and European short story / novel traces back to the short stories of Pushkin.

The results of the quantitative evaluation of discourse information characteristics, which were obtained on the basis of the experimentally measured pulse durations of quasi-segment speech structures of the 16 participants of the film discussion on the TV-show «Zakrytyy pokaz» are presented in the first part of the article.

This article analyzes the system of characters of the historic novel Dmitry Merezhkovsky «The 14th of December» in terms of choice of artistic media and tricks that allowed the writer to introduce the participants of this historical event based on his own Weltanschauung, religious principles and morality.

Varbot J. Experience the historical and etymological study of lexical and semantic fields at the seminar on Russian etymologies
Abstract
The paper presents the interim results and outlines the prospects of studies of lexical-semantic field as a specific component of the linguistic picture of the world. According to the author, etymological-motivational analysis of the field is more preferable, since it gives a possibility to determine the characteristics of objects, phenomena, taking into account the ideas, concepts, singled out by ethnos, ie, the picture of the world as such. Etymological analysis, the author believes, is a necessary component of motivational analysis, because allows you to set the degree of use in various fields the formations of individual etymological nests and relative chronology of motivational models. The combination of etymological-motivational analysis and historical analysis will help determine the degree of stability / variability of motivational models (= ethnic representations) in the history of the language and direction of the semantic development of the etymological nests functioning in this field.

Dapcheva Y. Reflection of the value system of the Bulgarians in some semantic-grammatical groups of phraseologisms
Abstract
The study draws conclusions about the place of the individual qualities of man in the value system of the Bulgarian people, based on semantic features, key components and figurative notions in the anthropomorphic idioms. It also shows an analysis of idioms, denoting man as bearer of 3 groups of qualities – moral and ethical, intellectual and behavioral.

Kovtun E. Vladimir Pavlovich Gudkov and UMO
Abstract
The present paper is devoted to Vladimir Pavlovich Goudkov – one of the most authoritative specialists in the sphere of slavonic studies. For many years he was the head of the Department of Slavonic Languages of the Faculty of Philology of Moscow State Lomonosov University. At the same time V.P. Goudkov is depicted not only as an outstanding scholar but also as one of the founders of the so called «UMO» – organization uniting professionals in the sphere of higher education. He managed to create a powerful union of specialists representing both classical and non-classical universities who elaborated the standards of philological education in Russia. V.P.Goudkov's personality is also featured in the paper, and his former colleagues' reminiscences contribute to his prominent portrayal.
