Solntseva N/ Epistemology of S. Klychkov and N. Klyuev (1920–1930-ies.)
Abstract
The spiritual quest of Klychkov and Klyuev have significant differences in 1920–1930, but we see a common philosophical, religious, ethical priorities in their works. In their theology the evident question is about the spiritual and the carnal nature of God the Father and God the Son. Actual question is the abandonment by God. There was expressed gnostic version of the creation of the world with the participation of the Prince of peace. Also there was actualized the question about the Prince of peace in human life as apocatastasis of Origen of Alexandria.
The theme of evil in their works is solved as apostasia. Both describe the powerlessness of man before the carnal and sectarian temptations. The magnitude of evil in the novels of Klychkov and poetry Klyuev correlate with the words of the apostle John “the whole world lieth in wickedness”. They see the causes of person’s damage not only in social scrapping of Russian life of the 19 c., but in the original nature of the man. Among the manifestations of apostasy – unbelief, ecological disaster. Their theodicy is correlated with the views of S. Bulgakov, N. Lossky, E. Trubetskoy. There was a question about the atonement through the blood that correlates with biblical motifs.
Klychkov and Kliuev – cosmists, their views on the world are similar to the ideas of G. Lotze, J. Boehme and the Russian philosophers-cosmists. They developed the concept of integrity and identity of the upper and lower worlds.

Gurevich D.L/ The Spanish que and its functions
Abstract
The Spanish que, the result of fusion of a few Latin words of different classes that functioned as subordinative conjunctions, has an extremely wide range of syntactic values and is used to adduce various clauses: substantive (objective and subject ones), causal, final, conditional, concessive. The specificity of que is in its grammatical polyvalence than leads to a kind of blurring effect when the logical-semantic relations between propositions are rather hinted at than explicitly marked. As a consequence, this use of que has been branded as que polivalente. In contrast to what the traditional grammars and reference grammar books suggest, this que is more than just a conjunction / relative pronoun: it is capable of expressing a whole complex of logical-syntactic, modal-pragmatic, discourse and communicative meanings. The versatile semantics of que makes one to think of a clearer approach to classifying its functions, and this if what the present paper is focused on.

Zholudeva L. Tuscan Dialect Features in 16-century Italian Comedies
Abstract
The article focuses on the functioning of dialectal features of phonetics and morphology in the comedies by 16-century Florentine and Siena-born authors (N. Machiavelli, A. Piccolomini, G. Bargagli, G.M. Cecchi, A.F. Grazzini, Intronati Academy members). The way dialectal and normative features are combined in the plays in question can be regarded as a model of how the Italian language, initially codified on the basis of 16-century literary texts and used mainly in writing, was progressively mastering new communicative functions. It is by using the potential of living Tuscan dialects that the Italian language norm gradually overcomes its inevitable artificiality. The 16-century comedies deserve attention on the part of Italian sociolinguistics as a manifestation of ongoing interaction between the evolving standard language and living dialects’ usage.

Urzha A.V., Skvortsova V.V. Time, Sleep and Death in Pelevin’s “Sleep” and Its English Translation: Ways of Interpreting Realia, Allusions and Time Movement
Abstract
The article concerns ways of interpreting key concepts of V. Pelevin’s “Sleep” (such as “time”, “sleep” and “death”) in the English translation made by A. Bromfield. The ways of rendering original allusions and realia that are difficult to translate are in the focus of the study.
Peculiar time movement is presented in the original in two contradictory ways: the explicit story of Nikita Dozakin covers several months of his youth, though many hints supported by certain historic allusions and social realia convince the attentive reader that the plot covers several decades and Nikita gets old and dies some time before the end of the story. Some of these realia (for example, “em-el philosophy” = “lectures on Marxism-Leninism”) have been skillfully explicated and rendered by A. Bromfield, but some interpretations lead the reader astray, as the word “spirits” instead of the Soviet soldiers’ slang “dukhi”, used for “dushmany” (Afghan militants) during the war in 1979-1989: “We’ve taught the spirits, and the spirits have taught us”. The whole scene lost its temporal location and besides mystic connotation got some connection to alcohol. Realia and allusions to Soviet and Yeltsin’s times, pointing to changing age and social status of the hero, are described in the article according to their function in the text and potential translatability. Using the data of the survey carried out among American students who had read ‘Sleep” in translation, the most sophisticated passages in the text are revealed, and the ways of their interpretation for English-speaking readers are offered.

Volodina N.V. “Teleology” as a Philosophical and Aesthetic, Historical and Literary Category
Abstract
The article is devoted to the concept which was important for the literary studies of the 1920s but today only occasionally appears in philological scientific discourse.
At the same time, it may be helpful while considering in the process of artistic creation and the internal structure of the literary work. By art teleology we mean the feasibility of organizing the work, its structure in accordance with the purpose and the artistic task of the author. Besides matching with a variety of scientific concepts (the author’s intention, setting, conception, purpose, maturity, integrity), teleology does not duplicate any of them, but considers and accumulates their values. That entails intention which includes a consciousness work as well as emotional and psychological subconscious impulse.
Thus, being associated with the identification of the meaning and usefulness of the artistic phenomenon, teleology leads to understanding not only of his poetics, but also of his metaphysical essence.

Karapets V.V. The Ways of Translation into Russian of the Combination “semicolon et” (G. Flaubert’s Novel “Madame Bovary”)
Abstract
The article dwells on the ways of translation into Russian of the combination “semicolon et” in complex sentences with coordination. The material of the research is the text of G. Flaubert’s novel “Madame Bovary”. Researchers consider this usage as specific for the Flaubert’s style. Moreover, it is not described by punctuation rules. The analysis of Russian equivalents shows that “isomorphous” variants, i. e. the combination of semicolon and Russian conjunction “и” or “a”, occurs mostly in the translations of 20 c., while in the 19 c. point and comma were more frequent. This fact denies the statement about high frequency of semicolon in the texts of the 19 c. Consequently, the translation disparities can be explained by two reasons: the divergence of punctuation rules in French and Russian and the peculiarities of translators’ individual styles.
