Krylova M.N. “People Want Poetry”: The Linguistic Personality of a Modern Poetry Admirer
The article revealed that the main, most active and obvious in terms of manifestations in social networks, the modern poetry consumer is a young girl / woman of 18–35 years of age. The subject of attention of this linguistic personality are, as a rule, poems of poor quality and primitive content. Such verses are copied by girls / women and used for communication in social networks – as congratulations, social statuses, comments, etc. The reason for this phenomenon is the lack of high-quality literary education, as well as the interest in reading and infantilism of many representatives of modern youth. However, the presence of the interest in poetry, the desire to use it in communication manifests the general positive mood of the person, her need for the beautiful, leveled by the inability to distinguish beautiful from the ugly.
