Miloš S. Milojević largely contributed to the preparation of the Serbian people in the occupied regions (Old Serbia) for the military and cultural-historical enterprise aimed at the liberation from the Ottoman Empire. His work can be seen in the political, cultural and military field. He restrained Bulgarian nationalist propaganda; with his itinerary work he described the cultural assets of Old Serbia so that the political activity of the Principality of Serbia should have facts for a successful enterprise. He was particularly successful as a direct organizer of volunteers and participant in the war. He was more active as a propagandist than as a historian.
