Czech and Slovak literary Russian studies in the late 20th – early 21st century
Abstract
The article deals with the main directions and development trends, the characteristic features of contemporary Czech and Slovak Russian studies. Russian literature is viewed by Czech and Slovakia scientists in the context of the movement of the world literary process. At the same time, the receptive approach remains the focus of attention. If Czech and Slovak studying of Russian Literature of the late 20th – early 21st century cannot be appreciated as a period of the heyday, then at least it is a very productive period in its history. Excellent prerequisites were appeared for the birth of a “new image” of Russian literature, freed from the Soviet “panideologism” characteristic, and enriched by the study of little-knowned works of Russian writers, literary crinics and philosophers.
