Principles of characters and historical situation description in the D.S. Merezhkovskyʼs novel «The 14th of December»
Abstract
This article analyzes the system of characters of the historic novel Dmitry Merezhkovsky «The 14th of December» in terms of choice of artistic media and tricks that allowed the writer to introduce the participants of this historical event based on his own Weltanschauung, religious principles and morality.
