The Academic Subject Curriculum “Lexicology in a Framework of Teaching Russian as a Foreign Language”
Abstract
The article presents the curriculum of compulsory course of the variable part MP “Russian as a foreign language: Linguo didactics and cultural linguistics bases of teaching” (the direction of preparation – 032700.68 “Philology”). The course “Lexicology in teaching Russian as a foreign language” is addressed to undergraduates of the first year learning. The content of the course covers the basic aspects of functional lexicology such as general lexicographic notions, the problem of lexical meaning and its constituents, the main approaches to description and teaching of vocabulary at lessons of Russian for foreigners (particularly the sematization mode-lexical meaning correlation) as well as vocabulary-grammar relationship. The course also deals with semantic structure of word, lexis description algorithms (component and distributive analyzes), linguistic world image, some aspects of lexical interference and phraseology and details learner’s dictionaries and vocabulary manuals used while teaching Russian as a foreign language.
