M.N. Muraviev’s Comedy “Vyigrannaia tiazhba” [“The Case been Won”] (by the materials of the The State Historical Museum’s Written Sources Department)
Abstract
The article deals with an unpublished comedy of M.N. Muraviev “Vyigrannaia tiazhba” [“The Case been Won”]. This text was found in the writer’s archive in the State Historical Museum’s Written Sources Department (DWS) and hasn’t been studied yet. Probably Muraviev wrote it in the 1772th; it’s one of the earliest his literature works. In this text he used common themes of the 18th century Russian journalism and drama.
