The article deals with the unexplored sphere of contemporary world literature – texts in ancient Greek (20^th–21^st centuries). Ode to Stalin by Jan Křesadlo fully demonstrates the actuality of Ancient Greek literature and shows that contemporary literature that uses Ancient Greek language is firmly connected with Сlassics, Hellenistic and Late Antiquity literatures.
