““What’s Closer to the Heart?”, or On Anthropocentrism in the Macedonian Deixis
Abstract
In the article methods of marking body names with the help of deictic indicators in the Macedonian language are considered. The grammatical markers (articles and pronouns) are the most “transparent” way of marking how close one or another category to the center of the “internal” human space.
