The article presents a general overview of the development of Serbian linguistic Slavistics from the second half of the 20th century, which is studied in the context of its development, including describing and evaluating criteria such as problematic, theoretical, methodological, institutional, personal. The main theme of the article is the Ivichev period in the development of Serbian linguistic Slavistics from the second half of the 20th century.
