The article deals with the analysis of “Cantemirian topic” in Russian poetry, criticism and literary studies of the 18th–21st centuries. Special focus is laid on four texts written in various centuries, that especially representative – those are the texts of Feofan Prokopovich, Konstantin Batushkov, Lev Pumpyansky and an anonymous author of the fanfic.
