Function of the Clitic se in the Spanish of the 14th century (on the material of Juan Manuel’s “Count Lucanor”)
Abstract
Despite the existence of numerous studies dedicated to the analysis of the clitic se in the Spanish language, there is currently a lack of systematic research on the element se found in Old Spanish texts. This article provides a description of the functions of the clitic in a 14th-century text based on a previously developed classification.
